- Going to University courses
Prepare online learning resources for your students in the event of closures or learn how to work remotely.
The University of Leeds is dedicated to supporting schools in this difficult time by providing a collection of high-quality online courses, free to access by students or staff at home or within school.
These short online courses are specifically designed for students in high schools and colleges and can be completed from any device, including phones. The collection includes subjects from STEM to Arts and can be used to enhance the work students complete at school, introduce them to new subjects or improve their online learning skills.
This selection of online courses are part of the Futurelearn’s Schools Initiative – a new initiative that gives millions of UK students aged 13+ free upgraded access (learners already have free access but now learners will also be able to keep the courses and complete the tests completely free of charge) to over a hundred relevant short courses on their platform.
If your school is preparing online learning resources and getting work ready for pupils to take home, then the University’s online courses might provide a solution until schools reopen.
