HELIX Loyalty Card
To recognise and reward your engagement, we’re launching the HELIX Loyalty Card—a new way to track your progress, unlock access, and earn Maker Tokens.
Starting from the 2025/26 academic year, HELIX members will be able to receive a loyalty card to gain access to resources and spaces after completing inductions and training. This card provides you with MAKER TOKENS, which translate into available time for 3D printing, laser cutting, and other activities. Further incentives such as 24/7 access, access to the Makerspace Classroom and Workshop out of hours, use of the XR Development Zone PCs and docking stations, and even your own personal HELIX Access Card will also be made available.
The card will also help to track your progress through the new 3-level induction model.
Existing users who have completed relevant training and inductions can visit the HELIX Staff Office to get their loyalty cards pre-stamped.
Please note that without participating in a HELIX induction, workshop, or activity, 24/7 access to HELIX will not be permitted. HELIX strives to be an inclusive and multiuse space, wanting the unique resources and facilities in HELIX to be used in a HELIX-focused way.
