Digital education at Leeds covers all aspects of technology-enhanced learning in hybrid and fully-online settings. This means that however you learn, students and staff at Leeds benefit from the latest digital technologies and pedagogical expertise.

To do this, we work closely with academic teams, students and commercial partners to design effective learning experiences using the best possible EdTech tools and teaching methodologies.

Our expertise in learning design and learning technologies enables us to create transformative, accessible and inclusive online learning experiences, from short courses and microcredentials to fully online degree programmes.

Online Learning Summit 2025

On 10 and 11 July 2025, over 200 attendees joined us in Leeds (and online!) as we continued to explore core themes and emerging areas of discussion in the online learning sector and beyond:
