Digital Education Live Sessions at Leeds

The Digital Education Service is delighted to announce a series of interactive live sessions showcasing the power of digital education across a range of spheres.

With increasing demand for online learning, digital teaching tools are shaping the future of education. The Digital Education Live Sessions are free for anyone to attend, and will explore three aspects of digital education:

· its power to reach diverse audiences and democratise learning

· its transformational effect on students and their practice

· and its ability to support and enhance the teaching of theatre and other subjects where physicality and interaction play a key role.

Join academics from across the University and international guests as they explore the possibilities of digital education in our changing world.

The series will initially run from 3 – 5 June.

The Future of Digital Education (Wednesday 3 June, 09:00-09:45)

Explore the transformational effect of digital education and hear from experts from Leeds and Indonesia on how online teaching can make access to education equal for all.

The Changing Anatomy of Digital Education (Thursday 4 June, 15:00 - 15:45)

Discover how digital education supports and enhances the student experience and pick up top tips on how to effectively make learning content online.

Teaching Theatre Skills Online (Friday 5 June, 15:00 - 15:45)

Discover what is to be gained when hands-on approaches to teaching and learning theatre move into the digital world.
