Supporting Policy Leeds film production at HELIX
Alexandra Noton, Engagement and Communications Officer at Policy Leeds, used HELIX's advanced facilities to produce 14 informational videos showcasing research under Policy Leeds.
Based at NEXUS, Alexandra connects researchers with policymakers at all levels to amplify academic research's impact on policy development.
Location: HELIX Media Suite
Aims: Direct and produce 14 videos to highlight cross-faculty research at the University of Leeds, demonstrating the value of this work and its potential impact on local and national policy.
Output: Using HELIX's recording studio resources, such as tripods, cameras, an autocue, and a green screen, Alexandra was able to create polished, professional videos that engage both the public and potential collaborators.
Impact: This project raises awareness of the policy-driven research efforts at Leeds, making the work of Policy Leeds accessible to policy actors, the public, and inspiring future projects.
