Introducing Brick by Brick
Brick by Brick is the University of Leeds training facility offering an accredited 2-day training course for people who want to become certified facilitators of the LEGO® Serious Play® (LSP) method, developed in partnership with Prof. Johan Roos, co-creator of the original LEGO® Serious Play® method.
About this course

No prior experience with LEGO® Serious Play® is required; curiosity and a willingness to be playful are essential.
Location and schedule
Training takes place at HELIX on the University of Leeds campus. HELIX is a creative and accessible space equipped with breakout areas, display screens and all required LEGO materials. The course runs over two consecutive days with sessions starting at 09:00 and finishing by 17:00. We provide lunch and refreshments; please let us know any dietary requirements during registration. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation, but we can provide local recommendations on request.
Accessibility and inclusivity
We are committed to making our training accessible. HELIX is located on the ground floor with stepfree access, accessible toilets and hearing loops available on request. We will contact delegates before the course to ask about any access needs (e.g., mobility requirements, assistive technology, prayer space, or materials in large print) and will make reasonable adjustments accordingly. Sessions include regular breaks.
Code of conduct
All delegates are expected to contribute to a respectful, inclusive environment. We adhere to the University of Leeds event codes of conduct which stress dignity and respect, prohibit harassment and discrimination, and permit organisers to remove participants who behave inappropriately. Please notify us promptly if you experience or witness behaviour that does not align with these expectations.
