BoB

BoB (Box of Broadcasts) is a shared online off-air TV and radio recording service for UK higher and further education institutions. The result of a partnership between BUFVC, Jisc and the BBC, BoB enables staff and students access over 1m broadcast programmes from 60+ channels, including all BBC TV and radio content since 2007.  No registration is necessary, simply log in with your Leeds username and password on or off campus.

  • Searchable transcripts for all English language programmes, with the option of onscreen subtitling.

The Digital Education Service administers BoB for the University and handles any queries, comments and problems people may have with the service.

The Digital Education Service’s learning technologists are available to support staff in using the service and advise on how best this can be used for blended learning.
