Leeds Digital Festival 2018

The University of Leeds is delighted to support the Leeds Digital Festival 2018.

Now in its third year, the Festival has been established to promote digital culture across Leeds, and has become the biggest festival of its kind in the North.

The University’s Digital Education Service will be hosting three unique events for the Festival. These include:

University of Leeds fair: tackling the digital skills gap

Hundreds of millions of workers worldwide will need to acquire a new set of skills to compete in the jobs market as technology accelerates. Join our open fair and find out about the digital skills gap, how it affects employability and how the University can help you narrow it. (Hors d’oeuvres and soft drinks will be served)

Find out about the University’s free online learning designed specifically for students and their teachers. The impact of digital on the future of the university: a panel discussion with employers

This panel engages representatives of a number of private and public sector employers in Leeds in a lively discussion of the role of unbundled online higher education in shaping the profile of future employees. Led by Neil Morris, Director of Digital Learning at Leeds.
