Our online courses, also known as Massive Open Online Courses – MOOCs – are led by top academics and subject matter experts. These courses explore a wide variety of topics and are designed for various audiences such as school-level students transitioning to higher education, professionals, University students and anyone who just wants to learn something new.

All online courses are developed by the Service's in-house team with experience in pedagogical design and media production and are hosted on different online platforms.  Our online courses have been well-received and have had almost a million joiners worldwide on FutureLearn alone.

Our expertise in pedagogical innovation and excellence in online learning has been demonstrated through a number of industry awards including the  Association of Learning Technologists (ALT) team of the year in 2015 and a PQ Magazine award in 2016.
