Online courses allow the University's excellence to become available to more learners and online learning platforms provide a means of achieving this.

An online learning platform provides learners and subject matter experts with a set of online services that support and enhance a learning journey. The online learning journey is built upon by learners studying and interacting with a wide and diverse group of people through various collaborative opportunities.

The University can produce online learning assets in different online learning platforms, for example FutureLearn, Minerva or Open Education and has recently entered into a partnership with Coursera.
